Mussolini and Hitler

Mussolini was admired by Adolf Hitler, but Mussolini did not like Hitler.  Hitler had said that Mussolini was an influence of his.  He thought that Hitler could become a potential  rival. Mussolini was when Hitler said that he wanted to create a union with Austria because Italy has a common boarder with Austria. In 1933 when the dictator of Austria, Engelbert Dollfuss was assassinated by the Nazis, Mussolini wanted to disassociate himself away from Hitler. he disliked Hitler's antisemitism.
